Strawberry Bombs Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs (optional)
- 1 cup melted chocolate (milk, dark, or white as preferred)
- Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or coconut flakes for decoration (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare Strawberries:
- Wash and hull the strawberries, making sure to remove the core to create a small cavity for the filling.
- Make the Filling:
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Fill the Strawberries:
- Transfer the cream cheese mixture to a piping bag or a plastic bag with a corner snipped off.
- Pipe the cream cheese filling into the cavity of each strawberry.
- Coat with Graham Cracker Crumbs (Optional):
- If desired, roll the filled strawberries in graham cracker crumbs for added texture and flavor.
- Dip in Chocolate:
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, microwaving in 30-second intervals and stirring in between until fully melted.
- Dip each filled strawberry into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off.
- Decorate:
- Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle with decorations of your choice such as sprinkles, crushed nuts, or coconut flakes.
- Chill and Serve:
- Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for about 15-20 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
- Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
