Ingredients:
- 1 pound (about 450g) ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, finely chopped
- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup red wine (optional)
- 1/2 cup beef or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

- 1 pound (about 450g) pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or your favorite)

Instructions:
- Prepare the Bolognese Sauce:
- In a large skillet or saucepan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add chopped onion, garlic, carrot, and celery to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Pour in the crushed tomatoes, red wine (if using), beef or vegetable broth, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
