Banana Cream Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-baked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4 large egg yolks, beaten
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

- 3 ripe bananas, sliced

Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together sugar, flour, and salt.

- Arrange a layer of sliced bananas in the bottom of the pre-baked pie crust.
- Pour half of the custard over the bananas.
- Add another layer of sliced bananas and top with the remaining custard.
- Cover the pie with plastic wrap, ensuring the wrap touches the surface of the custard to prevent a skin from forming.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Before serving, top the pie with whipped cream.
